A8 lost network connection via LAN
#11
This is strange. If you want, we can re send you a new KC868-A4 board (if you bought A4 from KinCony Official Aliexpress online store)

-i have problems with A8, not A4

Unfortunately, i bought it not in official store

my be this happens because i read data from A8 very often? in fact i read data every 5 seconds to control temperature and valve state

if you can connect to me by Anydesk i can show you my stream in NodeRed

may be you can show me another way?

if you download KCS firmware, use by MQTT, then you disable all others protocol.
you can test work without Node-Red for one day. such as every some hours later, you login with board's ip address.

i am using MQTT to read data and TCP server to send command to switch on or off relay

ок, will try

Hi. Is there a solution to the problem? I use two A8 modules. The first one rarely loses connection, and the second one disconnects at random intervals from about 30 minutes to 2-3 hours. Both modules are powered by the same 12v power supply and replacing the power supply did not help. When disconnected, the indicators on the network connector light up without blinking. Maybe it freezes?.. The problem appears more and more often over time, does it make sense to look for problems in the firmware?..

can you test with esphome yaml or KCS firmware?
another test way, whether wifi is stable? or only have issue with ethernet?

The module is controlled by the Home Assistant with ESP Home and I make all changes, if necessary, through the ESP Home integration.
So yes, I have access to the *.yaml file.

To be honest, I don't even know what the KCS firmware is. )) I've never come across this.

The network port was selected as potentially stable, so the module is installed in an iron electrical box and the Wi-fi settings block in the configuration file is closed.

But it seems to me that the problem is not related to the *.yaml file. I will try to connect the device via Wi-fi, but judging by previous messages, this is unlikely to help.

suggest you test by wifi, if wifi is ok, maybe you need re weld your ethernet chip: LAN8720A

I'm not sure yet, but it seems to have worked. I connected the module to wi-fi, and it works for almost an hour without disconnections. If this does not work for a long time, you will have to buy a new module. Thanks for the help!))
