HI,

While waiting the arrival of my KC868-A2 (green board) i'm reading the forum....

I want to use with Smart Life app, but reading the page for buy license, y see:

"3:tell us you model(choose from Kincony A4/A6/A8/A8S/A16/A32/A64/A128/E16S/AI/AK)"

The A2 it`s not there.....why? it´s not compatible the A2 with Smart Life app?

Thanks

Hi!

Well, finally received today the board.

Flashed last firm KCS_KC868_A2_V2.2.19.bin, no problem, everithing works well.

Buyed Tuya License (waiting reception...)

But I think I must change my plan....

I will power the board with a separate PSU 12vDC, then I can`t use de D1 1 and D2 2 as alarm jump notice and alarms status, cause the alarm board works in the OUT1 and OUT2 with ground or not ground for change status, taking the ground of the alarm board.

It's possible to input +12v in D1 and D2? or only works shorting with ground? When +12v inputs on DI 1 - > alarm start (for example)

If possible, how configure the parameter Input on board?

Thanks in advance,

Best Regards

A2 board digital input can use by 12v, but this is logical FALSE, short with GND , just DI=0v that is logical TRUE. if you MUST want use 12V for tigger, you can add a extend relay to convert to dry contact signal.

Ok thanks.

And this plan on attached image can be done?

By connecting the negative terminal of the KC PSU to the negative terminal of the alarm board, you can short D1 and D2 to negative to activate Digital Inputs

Thanks

Hi!

Everything is working.

In the end, I connected the KC directly to the alarm's backup battery, and everything works fine. The digital inputs are shorted to ground to activate.

The KC fulfills my need: the ability to arm and disarm the alarm from anywhere. Therefore, I can also know at any time whether the alarm is armed or not (in case I forget whether I armed it when I left home).

And of course, if the alarm is triggered while I'm not home, I receive a notification on my phone.

All of this is done through the Smart Life app.

Thanks for your help.

Regards
