Please see the pictures inside the folder URL given. In actuality, that was prior to ESPHomes deleting the device.  The device was discovered at that moment and was also ONLINE.

The JPEG files are available for download at the following link: ( https://mega.nz/folder/AAM2xQpZ#5AvX3is_jACXdKAOkmcmUw )

I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the gadget after deleting it from ESHomes. My KC868-A16 controller was not identified or not in ONLINE after I reinstalled it. Please let me know what to do next.

1 ) Could you kindly provide me with some advice regarding the R4PIN08 (eletechsip modbus rs485 module)? Is it compatible with my KC868-A16 microcontroller? Because I am able to obtain various Hex codes ranging from 0 to 7 during my experiments. Several images are included.

2 ) Please you can get the pictures from attached like. ( https://mega.nz/folder/hJ1kQLLY#w7mN2wd4FgaUdBX-73MpNA ).

3 )  Is it possible to control eight dry contact inputs on my KC868-A16 by uploading a YAML code?  Do these codes need to be uploaded from ESPHome?

4 )  Or are these configurations compatible with KCS v2. basic applications?

I appreciate your unwavering support in advance.

1. i don't know what's the "R4PIN08". our KCS firmware not support this module directly. if you want to use by ESPHome, maybe you can config yaml according to the module's protocol.

3. I don't understand what you want to do? if you want monitor 8CH digital input ,it's OK, just config by yaml.

1)  I appreciate your counsel, sir. This module (R4PIN08 / This versatile gadget functions as DI, DO, and DI + DO. ) has eight DI channels, and its RS485 interface allows us to receive the hex code output. I've included a picture of this output data that was obtained using Commic.exe.

2)   What I was hoping to acquire from you was a YAML code that I could upload to my KC868-A16 controller. When I give dry contact input to this module (R4PIN08), it will produce the following hex codes (via the RS485 port).

3)   Send Data :- 01 03 00 90 00 01 84 27

Return Data from this :- (R4PIN08)

        01 03 02 00 00 B8 44
        01 03 02 00 01 79 84
        01 03 02 00 02 39 85
        01 03 02 00 04 B9 87
        01 03 02 00 08 B9 82
        01 03 02 00 10 B9 88
        01 03 02 00 20 B9 9C
        01 03 02 00 40 B9 B4
        01 03 02 00 80 B9 E4

Once More I appreciate your unwavering support in advance.

1) I fully comprehend your silence for my above request.

2)  By the way, I bought a KC868-HA-V21 module and tried to use the HA485 Assistant V 1.0.4.0904 firmware to set the device's basic settings.

3) Additionally, I followed your instructions and attached my YAML code (github/hzkincony/esphome-kc868-ha). I attempted to upload it to my ESPHome, but sadly, it reported a USB error. Please help me to solve the problem since I was unable to do so.

4) Please locate my YAML code file and some images attached by clicking this link. :- ( https://mega.nz/folder/BZ8WzKAQ#dQI46Kw17qDfLNYCBe_0-g )

Thanks in advance
