4-20mah sensor wiring example
#1
I'm considering the KC868-AIO - I need several water level sensors and interested in using the 4-20mah version of this (as the accuracy is better over longer distances)

It's a two-wire sensor, but I can't find any examples of how this should be connected to the KC868-AIO?  As these work best with 24V should the KC868-AIO be powered with 24V also?

KC868-AIO analog input port support 4-20mA sensor. KC868-AIO support use by DC24v power supply.
just let sensor and dc24v power supply series connection with KC868-AIO's analog input port.

Thanks - just to confirm, like this?

Any advice for how to set this up in ESPHome?  The YAML template seems to be configured to measure voltage for all analog inputs?

diagram correct.
here have video tour for how to use 4-20mA sensor in home assistant by ESPHome: https://www.kincony.com/forum/showthread.php?tid=3499
it's the same way for KC868-AIO, just modify the analog input in yaml file.
