How to Use the SD Card with Raspberry Pi OS?
#1
Question
Hello, good morning/evening everyone,

I've followed the instructions in this video to install the 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS on the eMMC.
After inserting the SD Card, I checked the '/dev' folder and used the commands 'lsblk' and 'fdisk -l', but I couldn't find any trace of it.

I tried with two different SD card models, both formatted in FAT32:
  • ShanDianSDXC 64GB
  • SanDisk SDHC 4GB

Am I forgetting something ?

Thank you in advance!

if your Pi is eMMC version, you can't use SD card. only can use eMMC.

Thanks for the response.
Just to confirm, does this mean I can't use the SD card slot in the image I'm sharing?
In this case, would I need to exchange the Raspberry Pi CM4 for another version that supports the use of the SD card slot?

yes, you are right, because the default CM4 include eMMC.
