Is it possible to use terminal switches as digital inputs?

I was not interested in that they were tied to the relay outputs, I wanted to assign them the outputs in nodered.

if your Node-Red is installed on raspberry pi. ok, no problem, let your switch terminal board connect to PI by USB port (use a usb rs232 adapter), then you can get the message that any key pressed by Node-Red.

I can send kc868 through rs232 but when I connect to the terminal switch I get no response ... what am I doing wrong?

check your pin define, use RS232's pin2,pin3,pin5, maybe you need exchange the pin2 and pin3.
