I bought a KC868-A8 and I'm seeing the same issue. I tried different GPIOs ( 14, 33) but sensor is still not detected
The only additional configuration I have is:

Data wire is now connected next to VCC, which should be the 4th GPIO connector
what else could be the issue here?
