A16: IFTTT Time based actions not working
#11
Hello.
I am quite sure now, that A16 timer function in v2.2.10 is not working. Yesterday I set up 24 timers. Every full hour one timer was supposed to switch on output no. 15.
My expecttation was that after 24 hours, the output 15 should be switched on.
In addition to that I had Home Assistant log the status of the output. The records show that even over night the output was not switched on.

This leads me to the conclusion, that the timer is not working at all.

@kincony team: Can you please have a look at this and try to provide an fix?

Best regards from Germany!

Ah, HA would have been a much easier way to test it.  I was fiddling with setting up a counter on the output and checking whether it was triggered after 24 hours.

I have an A16v3 currently coming in through customs so when it's here I'll use the A16v2 as a latching relay to see whether the v3 has the same problem.

I've just set up the v3 running the same test as @sebfromgermany, I'll report back on results.  As I mentioned in this post the time zone bug seems to be fixed in v3 so perhaps the timer problem will also be fixed.

It's now been nearly 12 hours and none of the time-based actions have triggered, so it looks like the problem is present in the v3 firmware as well.  I've also updated the info on the time-handling bug, see this post.  In brief, with the v3 firmware the time swaps between being 12 hours out and being 0 hours out, I'm not sure whether this affects time-based IFTTT rules.

A final update, it's now been more than 24 hours and none of the time-based actions have triggered.  So the v3 firmware has the same problem as the v2 firmware, time-based actions don't work.

Thumbs Up
Hi.
Yes, it would be great if you could check this since it is limiting the range of application for the products.
I need to control water pums and water inflows. Therefore haveing a time-based control is crucial.
Looking forward to reading from you.

@twostar: Thank you for your support!
