Details for M30 board

Question 
Hi,

Would also be interested in new M30 board.

But looking for some details:

- What type of CT clamps are needed?  The M16v2 works with SCT013 with 3.5 mm jack, but what type is needed here ?

- Can you post details about the accuracy and especially if it can do stable readings of low power usage values like only a couple of watts. I would like to measure the real power usage of some electronic devices.

- Does M30 measure active power, so taking into account the power factor / cos phi ?

just use output 0-1v or 0-50mA version of CT clamp sensor.

ok but these are the same SCT013 clamps with 3.5 jack as with M16 board.  On M30 picture I see terminals to screw them in.
Do you need to cut off the 3.5 jack then?


+ any feedback on other question about accuracy and measuring active power?

1. Yes, just cut the 3.5 jack, connect cable directly.
2. accuracy and measuring active power. accuracy is high. active power, voltage, current , frequency, power consume .etc. these data value read from BL0910 chip directly, it's calculated by hardware chip, here is video demo : https://youtu.be/y3AuMg6DdqQ

thanks, the video explained a lot. 

I would like to monitor power usage of electronics/computers/TV.
With M16v2 that reports high power (50W for tv in standby where real power usage is 0.5W)

Can you maybe post some results of measuring non-resistive loads like that?

Would the 5A clamps be accurate enough to measure loads of 1-2 Watts ?

No calibration needed with this M30 setup?

I would like to see some real world measurements of small loads and know what levels of accuracy I could expect with this.
My Zennio KNX KEsplus device states it has 8W resolution, which is indeed what I see in the results.

And how come there is no calibration needed, it are the same clamps that are used then M16v2
