Automation for my new apartment
#1
Hello Kincony,

I have been watching for some time your channel and really love what you did with the distribution box.

I would like your opinion on what's the best approach regarding automation for the following setup:

1 kitchen circuit for 32 amps
11 outlets (16 amp circuit)
16 lightbulbs (10 amp circuits)
12 light switches
4 motion sensors
4 temperature sensors

I was looking at this distribution box - https://shop.kincony.com/products/16ch-r...t-node-red but i'm not entirely sure if it covers all my needs
Im planning to use this with home assistant and use alexa for voice command, and in the future i might install 5 automatic window blinds

Best regards

this DB version also is OK, just it need you config by Node-Red for alexa and google home speaker.
if you chose the new controller version, so that you can use alexa and google home speaker directly, because that will support tuya app.
here is new 32CH DB version, if you only want 16 channel, we can also make for 16 channel.

thanks a lot for the info. is there any video on your channel that explains the schematics ? for example from circuit braker (live wire 1 to 16) you have a wire that goes into the contactors(live wire 1) and from other circuit breaker it goes into the extension relays (live wire 17 to 32)

i saw in one of the videos - https://youtu.be/nFu80X-f-XY?si=e7pyXjuc3_DDjcLu&t=218 that there is a small pcb board that needs to be attached to the light switch. From what i understand this converts the light switch into a smart one that sends signal to the server and the server will trigger the relay to perform the action. Is that correct ? And where can i find to buy that pcb ?

yse, the adapter let your switch connect to relay controller by RS485.
here is V2 version order link: https://shop.kincony.com/products/kc868-...-io-module
