I'm not sure what you mean by the required CH340 drivers.

The devices use a CH340 USB serial chip, so you need to get Windows to install the necessary drivers for it in order to communicate with it.  If you just plug it in and there aren't any CH340 drivers installed it won't work.  You can check via Windows device manager whether the device is recognised.

because you are using Win7, if Win10 and Win11 OS, already include USB driver.

When I used it with Win10 I had to get Windows to explicitly install the drivers - it recognised an unknown device and asked whether I wanted it to search for drivers to install, but it wasn't supported automatically.
