let me summarize the status here and see how can you help me to achieved and review my progress for what has been succeed and failed:

- Samba and file Editor other add-on need it has been installed please see attached snapshot until the server disk space get not enough then i didn't complete this part as i desired.
- I asked question and how much size of USB memory stick or hard disk i can connect and how to move the data to it, your answer review the maximum size that you can connect to the server and you sent me this link https://www.home-assistant.io/common-tasks/os/
But in the link no information on the maximum usb storages that i can connect.
- how this will be fast as well for executing the commands without delay? bearing in mind that all 4 USB for Raspberry pi side are USB 2 the white not the blue on USB 3.0 ! 3. Home devices- Multi media that seen by home assistant :
regarding the devices seen on the Home assistant not seen completely for example:
3.1 only one home theater Pioneer VSX-LX55 old ( 2012 ) that has been seen , other home theater receiver Yamaha RX-V677 B87ED1 not seen ( 2017 )
3.2 only the blu ray device Panasonic DMP-BDT210 but the sony DVD 4k device is not seen
3.3 only one printer HP that seen the samsung printer not
3.4 both smart samsung TVs not seen
3.5 Apple TV can see but can't connect provide error
3.6 Media network drive has been seen
3.7 My spotify account and app has been seen but not able to communicate with it through pioneer home theater , and when i try to apply seen go to my media drive automatically not Spotify.

While installing the laptop crashed and blue screen pop up, now i need to re-install the window and rebuild my laptop, it looks something affect while installing the server although i didn't connect any thing to usb except a USB converter to ethernet in order to connect my laptop to my home network ( no ethernet socket in my laptop only USB and HDMI).
is all installation that done above on my laptop to home assistant and server i will need to re-do it again ?

i connected with ethernet to main router and power on but i can't see such as other controller to set it up and i searched the installation, pocedures of step up step by step didn't find except the schematic drawing and some in Russian language no English.
Would you please:
1.review my status above and attached file and write clear answer for solutions
2. send me invitation on Anydesk ASAP to review all my setup done so far and help me for A16 and other Home assistant steps including the MQTT part that i failed to follow your lessons , also back to original problem to install each controller although they had now a static ip address and can seen on my home network if i connect them but can't testing them right now because the Home assistant and ESP has not completely installed and fully set it up.
3. i would't like to re-install the windows and format my c drive before finish the current installation tests together to make sure no further crash to my laptop again after re-install my laptop window 10 and reimage all my applications.

do you have enable the USB port for CM4 firstly?
To enable the USB 2.0 ports on the Compute Module 4, you need to edit the boot config file (/boot/config.txt) and add:
dtoverlay=dwc2,dr_mode=host
Then reboot the Pi. Now you should be able to use the built-in USB 2.0 ports!

Sorry not clear
nothing mentioned in all your videos that the USB is disable by default
please send me the config.txt file that need add and explain how can i add it to CM4 by using my current USB or through home asisstant or what?
I'm electrical power engineer not IT specialist , i feel rebuild a system from scratch and facing a lot of IT issues i didn't considered.
i assume the server when i bough , it is configured for the functionality, 4 USB ports are disable !!
what else i should knew to taking into consideration?
many hours to resolve issues i didn't expected and no way to resolve except here and one day to send , 2 nd day to reply then send then reply then explore finally the USB is disable and didn't enable from the beginning.
send the config. txt file and how i can add it to CM4 and please for customer satisfaction if more problems i had i appriciate for the 3 rd or 4 th time asking now for remote access the Anydesk to configure things and make me happy and satisfied.
here is config.txt file in KC868-Server. you can replace for your file.
our work time is : 8:30AM -- 5:00PM in China, during these time, we can use anydesk help you.
because you replace file need change JUMPER and reboot, so do it by yourself is more easy.
If you want to engage in smart home business for a long time, it is inevitable to learn basic knowledge.
Here are some steps how to update file to enable USB port of CM4.
1. change KC868-Server CM4 boot jumper to "ON"/RIGHT, see photo, connect USB-C cable with your computer.
2. power on of your KC868-Server, open program rpiboot in your windows OS.
3. in my PC will scaned new disk for CM4 eMMC driver. you will find out "config.txt"
4. you can add command line or just replaced with my config.txt file.

I'm thinking to keep A16 and the server close to network rack for easy accessibility to laptop as process today unless we will aim to connect server and A16 to the house load.
The orginal plan was
H32B for outdoor garden 21 circuits
H32B for lighting on/ off indoor house 16 circuits
2 D8 for fimming light indoor 16 circuits
Server+ A16 for communicate home assistance with all conrollers, 4 AG to control IR,RF appliance remote vontrol, garage gate, wireless security slarm, wireless irrigation system Hunter system, Sonoff wirless electrical shutter systems.
Pleade suggest any different sdvise to start the wiring in parellel with continue setup the home assistant add ons , scenes and appliances communication.
1. KC868-Server's (output and input) or KC868-H32B or KC868-H32BS or KC868-D8 integrate to home assistant by MQTT.
KC868-A16 integrate to home assistant without MQTT, use "ESPHome".
These all have video tour, you can see video guide.
2. suggest use ethernet instead of wifi, ethernet is stable than wifi, only use ethernet for home assistant is enough. IP address use DHCP or STATIC, it's up to you, we suggest to chose DHCP.
I installef ESPHome using plug into computrr running ESPHome Dashboard ( for devices connected via usb to the server):
