I have a few questions regarding the dimmer.
If for example, I turn on channel 1 with the wall switch to 20%. and then I press the wall switch again. The brightness will go up until I release the switch. (let's say at 60%) Now if I press the wall switch again, will the brightness go up to 100% and loop, or will the brightness go down instead? (preferred way) Is it possible with home assistant to use any button with any channel? for example switch 1 triggers dimmer 16 Thanks in advance!

“HOLD ON” button : the output1 brightness will increase brightness until to 99% –> 0% –>99% –>0% –>99% always loop.
“SHORT CLICK” button : if your lamp is ON (1%–99%), then will be turn OFF. If your lamp is OFF (0%) , then will be turn ON (set to last time brightness have saved on memory). here is details: https://www.kincony.com/how-to-use-kc868...oller.html We strongly recommend that the manual switch be controlled by the hardware itself, not by the home assistant. This is the most reliable way. If the home assistant fails or your Raspberry Pi fails, the lights in the room will not be manually controlled, which is very troublesome.

The D16's 16 digital input port also can use for manual control 16 channel dimmer output, just must input1->dimmer1, input2->dimmer2, input3->dimmer3 ....... input16->dimmer16.

If I use the ethernet config, is the communication signal with Tuya better? (In this case, it would be better to leave the controller stored) Or when using the Tuya application, is it only in Wfi mode? (In this case I depend on a great wifi signal), based on that can I know the strength of the wifi signal that the controller is receiving? In the installation diagram, it is suggesting CAT6 cable for connecting the pulse switches, is CAT6 cable really needed? I ask because here in Brazil it is a more expensive cable, I want to know this detail because if it is mandatory I can inform the customer with details. Thanks for the support, I can't wait to install this module, I hope the customer approves. Tks in advance Mendonca

1. tuya mobile phone app have a "share" function. you can share your device with other tuya user.
2. yes, KC868-D16 use tuya only by wifi. if you want to know the signal , you can put your mobile phone to your D16's place, check with your mobile phone. 3. CAT6 not need, any cables can use for D16's input port, CAT5 also is ok.
