next week when have free time, will add that for D1-D6 output by esphome. These days busy for developing.

we have added D1-D6 control by home assistant. here are files updated. just copy plugin file to your esphome folder as photo. yaml file demo config use for D1,D2, you can add until D6 for KC868-HA. You can test it, whether is your need.

I've tested the solution that admin have posted on August 28th and everything is working perfectly. Thank you so much! 
That's exacly what I was trying to do when I ask for help on August 04th, 2023.

The switches (for the leds) and binary sensors are working perfectly on Home Assistant.

I've tested to change the "Target Relay Controller Address" on HA485 Assistant and everything continues to work nicelly if the right configuration is done on the ESPHome yaml file.
I was able to use more than one KC868-HA board at the same time since I configured different addresses at each board.

I've also tested the solution on Latch and Momentary switches and again, everything works perfectly.

Taking the opportunity...
If possible, I would like to see a version 2 of the KC868-HA board with the following improvements:
- Identification of single, double and triple click;
- Identification of long press (hold) click;
- Time configuration for double and triple click;
- Time configuration for long press (hold) click.

Is this version (beta-1) compatible with the new firmware for the kc868-HA ? ( KC868-HA RS485 button adapter firmware and PC software v1.0.4.0904 )

I found out that it works fine :-)) In a test-case with an A16, I can make work the switch-Types 'Momentary' and 'Latch' toggle an output. EdgeEvent is still a trouble.

Can I use 24V on the kc868-HA?
