KCS v2 firmware online guide: https://www.kincony.com/esp32-kcsv2-firmware.html

thanks. I was able to flash it and I can access the page setup. before I flashed, with the standard 1.x firmware the serial protocol was working and commanding my HB32 pro. However now, after I enable the RS232 from the KCS web page it does not command the HB32 pro.

Any specific settings that I should consider?

I am using RS232 speed 115200, stop bit 1, data bit 8, parity none

should I update the firmware of the HB32 pro to the KCS too?

the newest KCS v2 config IFTTT webpage, let every button output customize RS232 command output.
so you need create 32 IFTTT command for every button. such as :
button1 (DI1) output command "RELAY-SET-255,1,1" by RS232 or RS485.

just to see if I am making some mistakes.

1. I need to go under general and enable custom protocol (e.g., create a new general protocol with ID 1) with router RS232 and output command RELAY-SET-255,1,1
2. I need to go under IFTTT and create a new rule which if D1 is pressed then it triggers the general protocol 1 that I created
3. under protocol --> general I need to enable the RS232 with baud 115200, stop bit 1, data bit 8, parity no.

Perhaps I am missing something because it is not working.

thanks

also, how to I get back the original firmware (non KCS)?

I was able to make it work. Thank you.
the KCS firmware shows 40 DI inputs. only 36 are accessible from the wire interface. any other hidden connector?
