Reset line via GPIO output to 24v Flow meter.
Posted by: Onepointbrewing - 09-05-2025, 01:59 AM - Forum: F16 - Replies (1)

Hi,

Could you please post a picture of the cct for the GPIOs 13 14 and 40 pls. I will be configuring one of these as an output.

I want to interface it to a 24v Flow meter that has a reset line when pulled low.

Thank you

  DEBUG by JTAG
Posted by: maddoc - 09-04-2025, 10:30 PM - Forum: KC868-A6 - Replies (1)

Hello. can you tell me how I can connect the esprog debugger(jtag) to this board?  I have a problem with pin io15 (TDO), which is powered by 3v all the time, and it seems to me that this is interfering with debugging. Of course, I can cut the track for debugging time. But as a novice developer, I am tormented by the question: How did you debug on this board via JTAG? I don't want to use printf() Smile

Technical Consultation - Kincony Controller Selection
Posted by: Jan_W - 09-04-2025, 09:16 PM - Forum: DIY Project - Replies (5)

Hi,

I am seeking technical advice and consultation on determining which specific Kincony controllers and how many units would be required for my smart home project.

Controllers should be based on ESP32 platform and preferably support the newer Kincony KCS v3 firmware version.
I am looking for a complete system solution to meet my requirements.

PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS:

INPUTS:
- 67× lighting control inputs (momentary/impulse switches)
- 12× shutter control inputs (up + down commands)
- 14× window/door contact sensors
- 10× digital sensor inputs (human presence sensor, valves, etc.)
- 14× temperature sensor inputs (analog, including 4× temperature+humidity sensors, max distance is ~20m; planned DS18B20/DHT22 but the wiring is star-shaped, so can it be done with 1-wire?)

OUTPUTS:
- 34× lighting outputs (AC 230V)
- 10× LED lighting outputs (DC 24V white + dimmers)
- 12× shutter motor outputs
- 12× floor heating electrovalve control outputs

Thank you in advance for your time and expertise.

  Stepper Motor
Posted by: Cityslicker - 09-04-2025, 03:54 PM - Forum: Development - Replies (2)

I have a Kincony KC868 A16 board and want to control a stepper motor with variable speed.

I have connected the board up to the stepper motor driver, software works with another ESP32 board.

But I do not get a pulses out of the GPIO pins.

Do I need to set any other parameters to get the pulses out of the GPIO pins ?

Thanks

KC868-A16 integrates Home Assistant via MQTT?
Posted by: annasmith - 09-04-2025, 03:52 AM - Forum: KC868-A series and Uair Smart Controller - Replies (1)

I am using KC868-A16 to control the lighting system and sensors in my house. I see in the documentation that there are instructions on MQTT, but I am not sure if any special configuration (such as firmware adjustment or setting up a separate broker) is required to integrate stably with Home Assistant. In addition, has anyone tested latency or disconnection issues when using MQTT with the KC868-A series?
I hope everyone can share their experiences.
