  Questions regarding KC868-A8
Posted by: SJones - 09-07-2023, 11:07 AM - Forum: KC868-A series and Uair Smart Controller - Replies (9)

Hi, being new to relay boards I have a few questions I need cleared up.

1. I am running a fully 12V lithium battery system with an inverter for 240v devices. Can I mix and match relay output voltages (12v and 240v)? See image.

2. I watched this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xptAHlOLV-w. In the comments you stated the A4 board can only run one digital led strip. Can this A8 run two digital strips, one from S3 and another from S4?

3. If I buy two of these, can they run independantly (different yaml files), or do I have to connect them to avoid conflicts?

4. I have limited space to install this. What are the dimensions of this board with the case attached,

5. Can I buy the case on its own rather than in the bundle offered?

6. You have probably listed it elsewhere, but can you give me some examples of what can go in the analogue inputs.

Thanks.

  New Project Enquiry
Posted by: dharma - 09-06-2023, 04:11 PM - Forum: Customer project example - Replies (11)

Dear Sirs

I am planning home automation for my new flat and have the following query.

I already have a very powerful system running Home Assistant on it with Zigbee, google assistant and alexa installed.

1.  Can I just buy any of your KC868 boards such as H32B Pro, A128, KC 868 AI or E16S and attach it to my computer and it would work?

2.  Are these boards modular in design?  Meaning, say I buy 1 board now and in future, I need to attach extra DI, AI and/or RO, can I attach 1 or more boards and still operate them in the one single system?

3.  Also, how will the system function if any of the boards fail?  How to make sure we have some manual control in case of failure of the components in the boards?

Thanks a lot
Dharmesh

KC868-H32BS V2.13SP firmware added UDP command
Posted by: admin - 09-06-2023, 12:55 AM - Forum: News - No Replies

improvement:

support UDP string command protocol to control relay
support control relay by UDP command in Loxone Miniserver

firmware download:
.zip   H32BS_V213SP_20230820.zip (Size: 143.46 KB / Downloads: 208)
make sure your KC868-H32B CPU chip is AT32F403AVGT7.
if your board CPU is STM32F103VCT6 or GD32F103VCT6, there is no enough memory for new firmware update, they memory is 256K. new firmware is >300k, so can't use it.

  DI Interrupts
Posted by: Eric66 - 09-02-2023, 12:26 PM - Forum: KC868-A6 - Replies (2)

Hi,

Looking at the schematics I’m not 100% sure if the PCF8574 INT line is connected to the ESP32 or not.
I would be very grateful if somebody could confirm if this is the case.
I can see there’s a pull-up resistor, which I’m surprise because I though the PCF has an internal resistor anyway.
If it is connected to the ESP32 I would greatly apreciate any information on this subject.

Thanks in advance!

Eric
