1. connect MCP23017 i2c module with KinCony Server-Mini's i2c extend terminal. so that you can extend 16 GPIOs for switch or binary sensor in home assistant.
   
   

2. enable i2c for home assistant.

Add files to enable I2C
In the root of the hassos-boot partition, add a new folder called CONFIG.
In the CONFIG folder, add another new folder called modules.
Inside the modules folder add a text file called rpi-i2c.conf with the following content:
i2c-dev

In the root of the hassos-boot partition, edit the file called config.txt add two lines to it:
dtparam=i2c_vc=on
dtparam=i2c_arm=on

In the diagram we see "Lb1" and "Lb". On the kc868-ak board there are 36 numbered and 4 kcom. Please tell me how to connect correctly?

Expected this item will handle all my RF temperature sensors. Installed esphome put sample code but only thing i get is some noise
[I][remote.pronto:237]: Received Pronto: data=0000 006D 00C1 0000 0002 0005 0006  lots of this. Basically there are 2 ids which spamming data as Pronto time to time. If i put dump rc_switch then logs are empty even i tried to click some RF remotes. Tested IR and RF separately but that returning same output (what is actually strange because different pins suppose to read different things).
I believe that item is broken, or you can point me what i do wrong?

Hi, I want to use the same input (telecommand) to open a gate, and after to close it. 

how can I define a boolean variable (VAR1 for instance)  and test it to know if the gate is open or closed ?

I need to use this variable in several scripts. can you give me the syntax of the command to write, and in what .yaml file to use :  configuration.yaml ? or automation.yaml ? (joined)  or others ?

I'm testing my new KC868-M16-v2.
Using clamps YHDC 30A->1V.
I did the calibration without load and with a load of about 1kW at 220V.
When I measure without any current, the reading fluctuates around 0.
When I measure with the load working, I get the value also fluctuating around the setting I entered through calibation.
I use a coffe machine as this load of around 1kW.
While I do the reading with the M16v2, I simultaneously read the current using a Shelly Pro 1PM, which shows me a rock steady current during the test.

Are there known reasons why this phenomenon may happen?
Can I address it by changing anything in the configuration?
