  wifi port as AP in home Assistant

Hello friends,

Is there are possibility to use LAN port for connection to the local network, and wifi to be used like AP for connecting other smart devices? Everything of that configurated within esphome. Currently I use KC868-A8S with Home assistant, and it is connected with a wifi. Also I can't change the configuration to be connected with ethernet port.

Hi,
Your products are very useful and those are present & futuristic designs, I have planned for 16 relay control, 4 Analog sensors, 4 Temperature sensors, and Eneryg Monitor(like PZEM004T) 
before that, I have some doubts, Can I use the PZEM004T AC sensor in KC868 A16 or KC 868 A32? if yes how to use please explain in depth.
Or any other suggestions, please? advance Thanks for your reply  Smile

  Product idea: A Series output only board

Hi,

It would be nice to have the opposite of a KC868-AI board but for outputs only.  Call it KC868-AO Smile.

Maybe for 32 / 64 channels, without extras like inputs. Just the MOSFET driver lines, ESP32, ethernet RJ45 and maybe I2C, RS485 or some other serial header.

Just ordered a KC868-A128 because I wanted the output flexibility of Mosfets, but the entire loaded board is actually too much.

Having Inputs and Outputs separated and both driven by ESP32s would be awesome. It eliminates single points of failure a bit and you could physically spread I/O across wider locations by simply using ethernet.

  input sensors

Hello everyone, 

i would like to connect more than 1 sensor to the board. But in the description i read "1 connector for connecting temperature and other sensors" 

Did someone tried to connect more than 1 sensor to it or is there a multiplex module available ?

I am using kincony A8 board with my local mqtt broker..i have successfully connected board with mqtt and tested relay output using mqtt commands.....
   is there any way to check my device is online or offline ??? online /offline status of kincony A8 client .....??

Hi,

just a fest questions about different A-Series ESP32 controllers:

1. Are the dry contact inputs of the KCS868-AI the same as on the KC868-A16/64/128 ? (anti-interference, ling range etc)

2. Can the dry contact inputs of KCS868-AI or KC868-A16/64/128 also be driven by external voltage, such as +5V or +12V?

3. Can the MOSFET outputs of KC868-A16/64/128 also drive +5V instead of 12V/24V?

4. Can the MOSFET outputs of KC868-A16/64/128 drive different voltages per 8-PIN-Block? For example 12V output on A1-A8, 24V output on B9-B16, 5V output on B73-B80?

  KC868-A4 dht22 problem

i'm using a dht22 and input 1 and output1.
i made a simple code where i'm showing the dht22 value in the serial monitoring and  when the intput1 is colsed i made the output1 in the ON state, and if the input1 is open the ouptput1 is OFF.
in the simulation everting work fine and the value of the dht22 sonsor is correct.

but when i add an lamp in the output1 and turn it on and off the value of the dht22 becomes null.
i tried to modify the code like add a delay... but no result. dht22 becomes null.

 here is my simple source code:
